I got PSM-I Certified

You've seen the memes, "I want to be a programmer"; encounters bug, "I want to be a Scrum Master".

In my experience, working with a team of 3-4 individuals skilled in managing time does not require a dedicated managerial effort. However, working in a newer team, I found the need to manage and lead and wanted to see if I could contribute using established practices used in the industry. I decided to give the Scrum "brand" a chance since I'd heard a lot about it.

I prepared a whole week for the PSM1 certification exam and cleared it pretty easily. As with all certifications, it felt odd to pay $150 to get certified as a professional, which is akin to my discomfort with how a large number of universities work, pay to get backed by a brand.

Bottom-lining - Be clear and precise with your words in order to create a “mic-drop” moment. Avoid over-explaining or asking long questions that interweave too much context.
