Brad Mehldau's Number 19, something @ayanjoemusic intoduced me to. The opening to the session could be a ii-V-I on steriods but as soon as Number 19 starts, it's a lover's quarrel. A small fight over the afternoon that lingers into the night. There's sighs of relief in between but much like the thought of death, or separation, it returns invariably. I wish it would stop playing when it's finished.
